The Fox

Okay. This is Phillip, a friend of mine, whom I had to draw for *his* art classes, because he had teared his own drawing into tiny little pieces.
He handed it in today, and the teacher just said "That thing looks like a fox". Huh? Sorry, Mr Kersting, that obviously IS a DOG because a fox is just not dappled.

However, the task was to first of all paint yourself and then objects/whatsoever that you identify with or you think belong to your life. So I asked Phillip to tell me, what he wants me to paint apart from his portrait (and the mac mini, because I knew I had to draw that ;D ), so he answered "my dog".
Because I disliked the white space in the top left corner, I again asked him, what to draw and he didn't respond for a couple of minutes before presenting me the answer "banana".

Ah, yes: Pencil on plain white A2 (!) paper, about 1h
I used an 8B pencil (as I couldn't find my favourite 2B pencil [I hate h pencils]) to draw absolutely everything in this picture and after that used my hands to smudge and blur. Blurrrrrr.
